Federal Election Commission, the Supreme Court struck down a law that had been used to stop the advertising or showing of "Hillary: The Movie" during the 2008 presidential campaign. No one doubts that the movie was critical of Hillary Clinton and that its release was timed precisely to hurt her presidential campaign. What the court couldn't abide was letting the government decide when a movie crossed the line and became too political. The ruling eliminates bans that corporations and unions have faced in trying to influence elections 30 days before a primary election or nominating convention, or within 60 days before a general election.

When President Obama's Deputy Solicitor General, Malcolm Stewart, first argued the case "Hillary: The Movie" before the Supreme Court last March, Justice Samuel Alito asked him if the government could prohibit companies from publishing books. Stewart said that was indeed possible. "That's pretty incredible," Alito responded, and then he pointed out that most book publishers are corporations.

"If [the book] has one name, one use of a candidate's name, it could be covered?" Chief Justice John Roberts then asked. And Stewart replied: "That's correct." "It's a 500-page book, and at the end it says, so vote for X. The government could ban that?" Roberts asked. Again, Stewart said yes.

When the case was re argued before the Supreme Court in September, Stewart was replaced by Solicitor General Elena Kagan. Kagan, realizing that the court was shocked by Stewart's statements, said that pamphlets, not books, could be banned. When Chief Justice John Roberts asked her about pamphlets, here's what she said: "A pamphlet would be different. A pamphlet is pretty classic electioneering." But Kagan's answer is hardly comforting. Is the government going to have a word limit that lets bureaucrats decide when something goes from being a "pamphlet" to a book? How long would that last?

Fortunately, the Supreme Court disagreed.

However, President Obama is already vowing to overturn Thursday’s Supreme Court decision.

"I am instructing my administration to get to work immediately with Congress on this issue. We are going to talk with bipartisan Congressional leaders to develop a forceful response to this decision,"

A "forceful response" such as what, a new campaign finance law, trying to force the Supreme court to reverse their decision ?

What does this say for our country's future. It's not enough that they want to regulate our health care, they now appear to want to regulate the information we have access to.

Read More Here

Live Blogging of Massachusetts Senate Special Election Starts at 12 Noon Tuesday 1/19/2010

Live Blogging of Massachusetts Senate Election

Shameless Coakley Uses MLK Event To Campaign For Votes

Shameful, absolutely shameful ! I sincerely apologize for offending any and all Americans, especially African-Americans for my improper comments;"

Reid made the statement after the excerpts were first reported on the Web site of The Atlantic.

The remarks were quoted in a yet-to-be-released book about the campaign.

Reid described Sen. Barack Obama as "light skinned" and "with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one."

Reid's remarks were included in the book "Game Change" which was written by Time Magazine's Mark Halperin and New York Magazine's John Heilemann.

"I was a proud and enthusiastic supporter of Barack Obama during the campaign and have worked as hard as I can to advance President Obama's legislative agenda."

Apparently this makes everything okay because we have not heard any protests from Shapton or Jackson or the Democrats at this point.

Reid should be held to the same standard as former GOP Sen. Trent Lott, whose own racial gaffes cost him the Senate leadership in 2002.
But don't hold your breath, folks.

Read more here and here

Keep Opposing ObamaCare, Never Surrender !

Even though the Health Scare bill passed cloture in the Senate, it is still not over folks, keep faxing and emailing your Senators and Representatives(because this will eventually have to go back to the House). type='text'>Stupidest Quote of the week: Congress Mandating Health Insurance Like States Requiring Driver’s Licenses

Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.) recently stated that the constitutional authority for Congress to require individuals to purchase health insurance is the same that allowed for Medicaid and Medicare, and for states to require driver's licenses.

The last time I knew, Medicare and Medicaid were not mandatory, and for your information Senator Warner, although you do have to get a drivers license to drive in these 50 states, it is not mandatory that you obtain a drivers license if you don't wish to drive. No one is making you get one whether you want one or not and no one is fining you if you don't.

What a ridiculous comparison!

The Warner goes on to say that people without health care are currently going into hospitals and being treated and we are paying the bill and that is unfair. Huh? Isn't the Obama administration trying to tell us that there are 46 million people out there without health care who are at risk, now suddenly they can walk into a hospital and get it for free, it's just that we pay for it.

Well, again, Senator Warner, if 46 million people without health care are actually able to still get free health care on our dime, then there are actually no persons in the country who cannot get health care as you Democrats keep saying there are.

Furthermore, Senator Warner, wouldn't it be fair to say that if we are paying for those 46 million without health care that logic would dictate that we will be paying for 300 million people to get health care if the government run health care program passes in the Senate. That would mean that we would be paying for 254 million more than we are now.

So tell me again why we would want ObamaCare.

What a joke, and these people are running the country, scary.

Fort Hood Shooter Attended Same Radical Mosque As 9/11 Hijackers

Things are beginning to unravel as you dig deeper into the Fort Hood Shooter's background. It has now been reportedby the Telegraph, a British newspaper, that Major Nidal Malik Hasan attended a mosque which was led by a radical imam who was reported to be a "spiritual adviser" to three of the 9/11 hijackers.

The preacher at the time was Anwar al-Awlaki, an American-born Yemeni scholar who was banned from addressing a meeting in London by video link in August because he is accused of supporting attacks on British troops and backing terrorist organisations.

Hasan's eyes "lit up" when he mentioned his deep respect for al-Awlaki's teachings, according to a fellow Muslim officer at the Fort Hood base in Texas, the scene of Thursday's horrific shooting spree.

Charles Allen, a former under-secretary for intelligence at the Department of Homeland Security, has described al-Awlaki, who now lives in Yemen, as an "al-Qaeda supporter, and former spiritual leader to three of the September 11 hijackers... who targets US Muslims with radical online lectures encouraging terrorist attacks from his new home in Yemen".

Wow, a British newspaper can find this information, but the military couldn't. Too much PC going on.

What The PelosiCare Bill Says In A Nutshell

The health care bill that House Speaker Pelosi is bringing to a vote (H.R. 3962)today is 1,990 pages, here are some of the provisions of the bill you should know.

• Sec. 202 (p. 91-92) of the bill requires you to enroll in a "qualified plan." If you get your insurance at work, your employer will have a "grace period" to switch you to a "qualified plan," meaning a plan designed by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. If you buy your own insurance, there's no grace period. You'll have to enroll in a qualified plan as soon as any term in your contract changes, such as the co-pay, deductible or benefit.

• Sec. 224 (p. 118) provides that 18 months after the bill becomes law, the Secretary of Health and Human Services will decide what a "qualified plan" covers and how much you'll be legally required to pay for it. That's like a banker telling you to sign the loan agreement now, then filling in the interest rate and repayment terms 18 months later.

On Nov. 2, the Congressional Budget Office estimated what the plan will cost. An individual earning $44,000 before taxes who purchases his own insurance will have to pay a $5,300 premium and an estimated $2,000 in out-of-pocket expenses, for a total of $7,300 a year, which is 17% of his pre-tax income. A family earning $102,100 a year before taxes will have to pay a $15,000 premium plus an estimated $5,300 out-of-pocket, for a $20,300 total, or 20% of its pre-tax income. Individuals and families earning less than these amounts will be eligible for subsidies paid directly to their insurer.

• Sec. 303 (pp. 167-168) makes it clear that, although the "qualified plan" is not yet designed, it will be of the "one size fits all" variety. The bill claims to offer choice—basic, enhanced and premium levels—but the benefits are the same. Only the co-pays and deductibles differ. You will have to enroll in the same plan, whether the government is paying for it or you and your employer are footing the bill.

• Sec. 59b (pp. 297-299) says that when you file your taxes, you must include proof that you are in a qualified plan. If not, you will be fined thousands of dollars. Illegal immigrants are exempt from this requirement.

• Sec. 412 (p. 272) says that employers must provide a "qualified plan" for their employees and pay 72.5% of the cost, and a smaller share of family coverage, or incur an 8% payroll tax. Small businesses, with payrolls from $500,000 to $750,000, are fined less.

Besides reducing Medicare funding by an estimated $500 billion, the bill changes how Medicare pays doctors and hospitals, allowing the government to dictate treatment decisions.

• Sec. 1302 (pp. 672-692) moves Medicare from a fee-for-service payment system, in which patients choose which doctors to see and doctors are paid for each service they provide, toward what's called a "medical home."

The medical home is this decade's version of HMO-restrictions on care. A primary-care provider manages access to costly specialists and diagnostic tests for a flat monthly fee. The bill specifies that you may have to settle for a nurse practitioner rather than a physician as the primary-care provider. Medical homes begin with demonstration projects, but the HHS secretary is authorized to "disseminate this approach rapidly on a national basis."

A December 2008 Congressional Budget Office report noted that "medical homes" were likely to resemble the unpopular gatekeepers of 20 years ago if cost control was a priority.

• Sec. 1114 (pp. 391-393) replaces physicians with physician assistants in overseeing care for hospice patients.

• Secs. 1158-1160 (pp. 499-520) initiates programs to reduce payments for patient care to what it costs in the lowest cost regions of the country. This will reduce payments for care (and by implication the standard of care) for hospital patients in higher cost areas such as New York and Florida.

• Sec. 1161 (pp. 520-545) cuts payments to Medicare Advantage plans (used by 20% of seniors). Advantage plans have warned this will result in reductions in optional benefits such as vision and dental care.

• Sec. 1402 (p. 756) says that the results of comparative effectiveness research conducted by the government will be delivered to doctors electronically to guide their use of "medical items and services."

While the bill will slash Medicare funding, it will also direct billions of dollars to numerous inner-city social work and diversity programs with vague standards of accountability.

• Sec. 399V (p. 1422) provides for grants to community "entities" with no required qualifications except having "documented community activity and experience with community healthcare workers" to "educate, guide, and provide experiential learning opportunities" aimed at drug abuse, poor nutrition, smoking and obesity. "Each community health worker program receiving funds under the grant will provide services in the cultural context most appropriate for the individual served by the program."

These programs will "enhance the capacity of individuals to utilize health services and health related social services under Federal, State and local programs by assisting individuals in establishing eligibility . . . and in receiving services and other benefits" including transportation and translation services.

• Sec. 222 (p. 617) provides reimbursement for culturally and linguistically appropriate services. This program will train health-care workers to inform Medicare beneficiaries of their "right" to have an interpreter at all times and with no co-pays for language services.

• Secs. 2521 and 2533 (pp. 1379 and 1437) establishes racial and ethnic preferences in awarding grants for training nurses and creating secondary-school health science programs. For example, grants for nursing schools should "give preference to programs that provide for improving the diversity of new nurse graduates to reflect changes in the demographics of the patient population." And secondary-school grants should go to schools "graduating students from disadvantaged backgrounds including racial and ethnic minorities."

• Sec. 305 (p. 189) Provides for automatic Medicaid enrollment of newborns who do not otherwise have insurance.

Read more HERE and HERE

Ft.Hood Shooter Yelled "Allah Akbar" During Rampage

According to Fox News, survivors of the shooting rampage at Fort Hood yesterday, said the shooter,Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, shouted "Allah Akbar!" — "God is great!" in Arabic before opening fire !

"That was reported by a few of the witnesses that were at the scene," Cone's deputy, Col. John Rossi, told Fox News.

Federal law enforcement officials told The Associated Press that Hasan had come to their attention at least six months ago because of Internet postings that discussed suicide bombings. The officials said they are still trying to confirm that he was the author.

One of the Web postings that authorities reviewed is a blog that equates a suicide bomber to a soldier throwing himself on a grenade to save the lives of his comrades.

"To say that this soldier committed suicide is inappropriate. Its more appropriate to say he is a brave hero that sacrificed his life for a more noble cause," the Internet posting reads. "Scholars have paralleled (sic) this to suicide bombers whose intention, by sacrificing their lives, is to help save Muslims by killing enemy soldiers."

Before Thursday's shooting, Hasan reportedly gave away all of his furniture along with copies of the Koran to neighbors, KXXV-TV reported.

The above statement should have been a tell tale sign to the authorities, most people who are going to commit suicide give away their valuable possessions just before they kill themselves. In this case he must have known he would be shot dead by responding Police or planned to shoot himself when he was through. This amplifies the importance of the heroic actions of the female police officer who shot Hasan because he was probably not through yet, and probably one of the reasons why he didn't kill himself. Her quick actions saved lives.

Authorities have not ruled out that Hasan was acting on behalf of some unidentified radical group, a senior U.S. official in Washington said. He would not say whether any evidence had come to light to support that theory.

PelosiCare Would Increase Premiums, Ration Care and Fail To Bring Down costs

Former CBO Director, Douglas Holtz-Eakin, said the House Democrats' health care bill would be neither durable nor desirable as it would raise health insurance premiums, ration health care, and fail to bring down the costs.

Holtz-Eakin said:

"We are going to generally raise the cost of existing insurance to those who already have it and that's a majority of Americans and then put in place a fiscally rickety way to get insurance to those who do not have insurance."

"As a result I think that these are reforms which are not durable in any deep sense and are not desirable from the point of view of policy," he said.

He further said that many of the tax provisions in the bill were not sustainable revenue measures but budgetary "gimmicks" designed to manipulate the CBO's 10-year scoring process.

"It continues to be true that it does not 'bend the cost curve,'" said Holtz-Eakin. "This does not deliver on the fundamental promise of real health care reform, which is to have services of the same quality or greater at lower cost, and lower cost growth certainly."

"This sets up instead a large entitlement spending program that grows at 8 percent a year as far as the eye can see, and which [current] CBO Director Doug Elmendorf said earlier this year did not bend the cost curve," said Holtz-Eakin. "It leaves the architects with only gimmicks to disguise this problem."

"It front-loads all of the taxes and back-loads all of the spending so as to give the appearance of balance over the 10-year window," he explained.

"And I think it's quite real that the Medicare payment reductions promised are politically and substantively unrealistic," he said. "There's been no change in the delivery system that would allow one to believe that you can cut in half the basic growth rate of the Medicare spending program, compared to history."

"The House has a real clear pay-for in the tax on millionaires, half a million for single [filers] and a million for couples, but that tax is not indexed for inflation and, to my eye," he said, "looks exactly like the Alternative Minimum Tax - a tax targeted on literally just over 100 high-income individuals but is now threatening the middle class year after year."

"The heart of this bill is to repeat two of the greatest policy errors this country has made: to create large, unfunded entitlement spending programs, and to have a tax law that is not politically viable over the long haul," he said.

"The budgetary aspect is crucial given the outlook for our economy, which we're on track to triple debt over the next 10 years and run deficits of a trillion dollars as far as 10 years from now," said Holtz-Eakin.

Read More Here

Folks, to read the bill for yourself click on this link: 1,990-page health care bill Good luck !

Send Email to Congress: NO to Government-Run Health Care

Swine Flu Peaks Before Vaccine Makes Widespread Distribution

According to recent findings by the CDC, one in five U.S. children have already experienced the flu this month, and most of those were likely H1N1 swine flu cases.

Out of nearly 14,000 suspected flu cases tested during the week ending on October 10, 2009, 99.6% of those were influenza A, and the vast majority of those were H1N1 swine flu infections. (http://www.cdc.gov/flu/weekly/) This is a very strong indication that swine flu infections have peaked during October, 2009.

Researchers from Purdue University just published a paper in the October 15 issue of Eurosurveillance (a science journal about communicable disease) in which researchers stated that the H1N1 swine flu epidemic would peak during "week 42" (the end of October). Week 42 just passed.

The AJC is also reporting this week that swine flu is "retreating" in Georgia, where hospital visits from the flu are markedly down (http://www.ajc.com/health/swine-flu...) and fewer illnesses are being reported in schools, too.

Even the WHO is reporting a downward trend in many areas, saying, "In tropical areas of the world, rates of illness are generally declining, with a few exceptions. ...In tropical Asia, of the countries that are reporting this week, all report decreases in respiratory disease activity." (http://www.who.int/csr/don/2009_10_...)

Meanwhile the vaccine shortage has been causing chaos according to news reports and many vaccination events are being canceled as a result as well.

This is what you expect when a President declares a National Emergency for something that really isn't, scaring the American Public, and creating the resulting chaos. There were actually reports of women who were stuffing pillows under their clothes to feign pregnancy so that they could get the vaccine. Sgt. Coble asked.

"We would not be honoring the lives of the troops who died if we left here without finishing our mission, and many troops are concerned that the American people have forgotten why we came here to begin with," she said.

"If we left Afghanistan right now, its equivalent to somebody going up to help a rape victim, engaging in a fight to help that rape victim, then giving up because they didn't want to get hurt themselves and allowing that rape to continue," she said. "Because essentially that's what the Afghan population is: They are victims, and we need to follow through with what we promised."

A soldier who wished to remain anonymous asked:

"Do the people in Washington even remember we're here?"

A Major had this to say:

"I have hope in what we're doing here," Maj. Espinoza said, as he donned armor in preparation for the short ride from International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) headquarters to Kabul airport. "Look, if I didn't have hope, I wouldn't be here. I wouldn't be doing what I'm doing. It's as simple as that."
Sgt. Coble urged Americans to think about the sacrifices U.S. troops have made in Afghanistan and the consequences of narrowing the mission before it has more time to succeed.

"We're not just numbers," she said. "I'm not going to say morale is high with everything going on at home. We're here for a reason. This is not a draft military. When people go out on the streets in America and say, 'Bring our troops home,' it infuriates me. Don't go out there talking about bringing our troops home, let us decide when to come back home. We're here because we want our children, my son, to have a safer world, and we know the risks."
Read More Here

These brave men and women deserve better than this folks let's make sure that are voices are heard in support of our brave men and women in the military and their missions in the war on terror. The White House said the declaration would allow medical officials to bypass certain federal requirements.

Even though the H1N1 pandemic appears to have peaked out, President Obama has now declared a national emergency over swine flu infections.

According to the CDC, swine flu infections have already peaked, and the pandemic is on its way out. Peak infection time was the middle of October, where one in five U.S. children experienced the flu, says the CDC. Out of nearly 14,000 suspected flu cases tested during the week ending on October 10, 2009, 99.6% of those were influenza A, and the vast majority of those were confirmed as H1N1 swine flu infections.

When you realize that about 30,000 people die from the regular Flu every year and no national emergency has ever been declared it gives one pause to wonder why the Swine Flu is being treated differently when you consider the lower death toll.

According to Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius the vast majority of people who get swine flu "so far are not terribly ill," Sebelius noted, saying most will recover fine at home with some rest and fluids. And they shouldn't race to doctors' offices seeking tests to find out what kind of flu they have - H1N1 or the regular strains that circulate every winter - because treatment is the same.

"The flu is the flu is the flu right now," Sebelius said.

Does this sound like an official who thinks this is a "National Emergency", it sure doesn't to me.

As I wrote earlier this week, a CBS investigation revealed that H1N1 flu cases are not as prevalent as we are told by the government, the CDC, WHO, and the corporate media.

A recent study published Oct. 15 in Eurosurveillance, a scientific journal devoted to epidemiology and the surveillance and control of communicable diseases, shows that the H1N1 vaccine will arrive too late to help most Americans who will be infected during this flu season. The study was conducted by professors Sherry Towers and Zhilan Feng of, respectively, Purdue's statistics and mathematics departments.

"The model predicts that there will be a significant wave in autumn, with 63% of the population being infected, and that this wave will peak so early that the planned [U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention] vaccination campaign will likely not have a large effect on the total number of people ultimately infected by the pandemic H1N1 influenza virus," the authors wrote in their study.

The authors said that this is the week, through Oct. 24, during which the greatest number of people would be infected. The vaccination program has barely started in the U.S.

"The model predicts that the peak wave of infection will occur near the end of October in week 42, with 8% of the population being infected during that week. By the end of 2009, the model predicts that a total of 63% of the population will have been infected," the authors wrote in a conclusion that ignored the effects of a CDC vaccination program.

Recently the state of New York backed off of mandating their health care workers get the H1N1 vaccine after many of the workers protested the policy, certainly if this were really thought to be a national emergency, these health care workers would have been required to be immunized against the Swine Flu.

So for all intensive purposes there does not seem to be a need for a declared National Emergency for the Swine Flu, which would give the Obama administration the power to force U.S. Citizens to get vaccinated against their will, all the while making big money for the companies who manufacture the vaccine.

ObamaCare Fails Senate Test Vote 47 - 53

The Senate took its first floor vote on Obamacare yesterday and the White House lost.

The New York Times reports:

"Democrats lost a big test vote on health care legislation on Wednesday as the Senate blocked action on a bill to increase Medicare payments to doctors at a cost of $247 billion over 10 years. The Senate majority leader, Harry Reid, Democrat of Nevada, needed 60 votes to proceed. He won only 47. And he could not blame Republicans. A dozen Democrats and one independent crossed party lines and voted with Republicans on the 53 to 47 roll call."

White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel tried to smooth passage of the $1 trillion-plus health care overhaul by transferring a quarter of its cost into a separate, and completely unpaid for, bill. This apparently didn't sit well with Democratic Senators like Evan Bayh (D-IN), Kent Conrad (D-ND), Russ Feingold (D-WI), Claire McCaskill (D-MO), Bill Nelson (D-FL), and Ron Wyden (D-OR).

Wyden told the Times:

"On the eve of a historic debate on health care, it's essential to show a commitment to real reform," including fiscal responsibility.

A recent Gallup poll showed that Americans, more than ever, feel that health care costs will increase, the quality of health care will decrease and that insurance company requirements will become complicated under ObamaCare.

By 58% to 38%, Americans would generally prefer to see Congress deal with health care reform "on a gradual basis over several years" rather than "try to pass a comprehensive health care reform plan this year."

Reforms such as equalizing the tax treatment of health insurance purchases, allowing people to purchase health insurance across state lines, and allowing states more flexibility on Medicaid spending are what the American people want, why aren't the Democrats and Obama listening.

CBS: Swine Flu Not As Prevalent As Feared

CBS recently published this latest article in regards to the H1N1 Virus (Swine Flu), in the article they open with the following two paragraphs:

If you have been diagnosed "probable" or "presumed" 2009 H1N1 or "swine flu" in recent months, you may be surprised to know this: odds are you didn’t have H1N1 flu.

In fact, you probably didn’t have flu at all. That's according to state-by-state test results obtained in a three-month-long CBS News investigation.

The article goes on to say:

While we waited for CDC to provide the data, which it eventually did, we asked all 50states for their statistics on state lab-confirmed H1N1 prior to the halt of individual testing and counting in July. The results reveal a pattern that surprised a number of health care professionals we consulted. The vast majority of cases were negative for H1N1 as well as seasonal flu, despite the fact that many states were specifically testing patients deemed to be most likely to have H1N1 flu, based on symptoms and risk factors, such as travel to Mexico.

One has to wonder what the alarm is all about, the Swine Flu is attributed to about 1,700 deaths worlwide, about 30,000 people in the U.S. alone die from the regular Flu every year. So I can't understand what the urgency is in the development of this vaccine and its hurried distribution.

The Latest RNC Ad on ObamaCare

Please watch this latest RNC ad on ObamaCare.

58 % Have Unfavorable Opinion of Nancy Pelocchio

A recentRasmussen Poll indicates that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi remains the most well known and most disliked of Congressional leaders.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 58% of likely voters view Pelosi unfavorably, up just one point from September. That percentage has fallen in a range of 53% to 64% since Congress began its session in February.

Thirty-four percent (34%) of voters give Pelosi a favorable review, showing no change from last month. That number includes just 11% who view her very favorably. Since February, the percentage of voters who rate Pelosi favorably has ranged from 30% to 36%.

Pelosi's fellow Democrat, House Majority Leader Harry Reid, is viewed unfavorably by 45% of voters.

Reid can expect to face a difficult re-election this year in Nevada, where recent Rasmussen polling shows him trailing two potential Republican challengers.

Pelosi, AKA Nancy Pelocchio,AKA The Wicked Witch of the West on my show folks, has a favorable poll rating that rivals former President Bush's ratings. Where is the Main Stream News Media, why aren't they plastering Pelosi's poll numbers all over the TV and Newspapers like they did Bush. Okay, don't answer that because we all know why.

These numbers speak for themselves folks, people are fed up, they have had it with the Congressional Democrats and their ram it through at all cost attitudes toward Health Care Reform, The Cap and Trade Bill, Amnesty for Illegals and their arrogance toward our military and intelligence agencies who protect our country.

People are disgusted with a Congress (Controlled by Democrats since 2006) that is not listening to the American People. People are tired of being labeled "unamerican", "political terrorists", etc..

Remember the screed of Hillary Clinton during the Bush years when she said:

"I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you're not patriotic. We should stand up and say we Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration!"

Well that was probably the one time that I actually agreed with Billary, we do have the right to disagree and debate with any administration, INCLUDING OBAMA'S !

Suddenly folks, if you disagree, if you voice your opinion or opposition to Obama's health care plans or other socialist agenda plans you are "racist", "unamerican", "Terrorists", even "Nazis"!

So where is Billary now with her screed, why is she not defending the people who are opposing, debating, and disagreeing with the CURRENT administration, suddenly she has fallen silent.

One thing I believe for sure is that if this Health Care plan passes, those who voted for it will be held accountable in 2010, this is the only reason why the Democrats have not used the "nuclear option" to pass the bill, they are trying to get some Republicans to help make its passage look bi-partisan, and unfortunately some Rinos are falling in lock step.

'Kenyan-born Obama All Set for US Senate' ?

The following article was emailed to me, judge for yourself folks. !

Hat Tip to Sarah Brooks

Kenyan-born Obama all set for US Senate
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kenyan-born US Senate hopeful, Barrack Obama, appeared set to take over the Illinois Senate seat after his main rival, Jack Ryan, dropped out of the race on Friday night amid a furor over lurid sex club allegations.

The allegations that horrified fellow Republicans and caused his once-promising candidacy to implode in four short days have given Obama a clear lead as Republicans struggled to fetch an alternative.

Ryan’s campaign began to crumble on Monday following the release of embarrassing records from his divorce. In the records, his ex-wife, Boston Public actress Jeri Ryan, said her former husband took her to kinky sex clubs in Paris, New York and New Orleans.

Barrack Obama

"It’s clear to me that a vigorous debate on the issues most likely could not take place if I remain in the race," Ryan, 44, said in a statement. "What would take place, rather, is a brutal, scorched-earth campaign – the kind of campaign that has turned off so many voters, the kind of politics I refuse to play."

Although Ryan disputed the allegations, saying he and his wife went to one ‘avant-garde’ club in Paris and left because they felt uncomfortable, lashed out at the media and said it was "truly outrageous" that the Chicago Tribune got a judge to unseal the records.

The Republican choice will become an instant underdog in the campaign for the seat of retiring Republican Senator Peter Fitzgerald, since Obama held a wide lead even before the scandal broke.

"I feel for him actually," Obama told a Chicago TV station. "What he’s gone through over the last three days I think is something you wouldn’t wish on anybody."

The Republican state committee must now choose a replacement for Ryan, who had won in the primaries against seven contenders. Its task is complicated by the fact that Obama holds a comfortable lead in the polls and is widely regarded as a rising Democratic star.

The chairwoman of the Illinois Republican Party, Judy Topinka, said at a news conference, after Ryan withdrew, that Republicans would probably take several weeks to settle on a new candidate.

"Obviously, this is a bad week for our party and our state," she said.

As recently as Thursday, spokesmen for the Ryan campaign still insisted that Ryan would remain in the race. Ryan had defended himself saying, "There’s no breaking of any laws. There’s no breaking of any marriage laws. There’s no breaking of the Ten Commandments anywhere."

—AP

News Headlines | Home Page

Copyright © 2004 .
